Description

The Sea-Dog mooring buoy snap hook kit is an easy solution to attaching a mooring line to a buoy or cleat. Using the included keeper plate, these channeled snaps fit onto the end of boat hooks or other poles, turning a challenging task into a quick and simple process, especially for vessels with high freeboard. The kit includes the snap hook, keeper plate, and fasteners for attaching the keeper plate to a boat hook. Attach the hook by simply reaching out with the boat pole, hooking the carabiner on the inside of the attachment point and then pulling back on the boat pole. The carabiner snaps shut as it slides free of the pole, securely clipping to the mooring eye or cleat. Made of investment cast 316 stainless steel with stamped 304 stainless steel keeper plate.
